An XML sitemap:
- Ensures better visibility by search engines
- Enables you to rely less on external links that will bring search engines to your site.
- Helps with broken internal links or orphaned pages that cannot be reached in other way
- Alerts search engines to any changes/additions to your site
- Helps you choose pages that you don’t want to index
What do you think about it?

By creating a XML Sitemaps Google crawl simply all the pages of that site in this means it helps Google to find all the pages in a site.

The XML sitemap module creates a sitemap that conforms to the sitemaps.org specification. This helps search engines to more intelligently crawl a website and keep their results up to date. The sitemap created by the module can be automatically submitted to Ask, Google, Bing and Yahoo! search engines.

With such a sitemap, it's much easier for the crawlers to see the complete structure of your site and retrieve it more efficiently. The plugin supports all kinds of WordPress generated pages as well as custom URLs.

XML sitemaps are really important to tell search engine that how many pages your site has so search engine can crawl them. I prefer to use both HTML and XML sitemap on site so visitors also able to access all the pages of site easily.
