Why are number search and character search differ in google search?

Hi all
I have seen lots of time that number search and character search, which have same meaning are not have same search result in the Google. Suppose you search a number 32 and another words thirty-two, you will get differ search result in the Google. Why?

Searches result are based on relevancy so when you try to search like '2' then all result related to '2' shown first then listed 'two'. like any keyword (website design and design website) are shown different
