i think godaddy domain registration interface is the easiest to use, couple with free webspace when purchasing new domain. the coupon code is another winning point.

there is other registra through hosting that i might consider. espacially, for example LYPHA gives unlimited $1 domain name. i took it. :D

I didn't explain why.

Why?

They are fast.. I've ordered tonnes of domains from the, (specially when they had their free .info domains tee hee) and they are fast. The new domain setup took about 5 minutes, and it was running live minutes later. Nameserver changes are also instant, and their prices are very competitve... not to mention their little bargain days!

I use enom.com & resellerclub.com

I up until recently enjoyed registerfly, but with their recent debacle I've transfered to godaddy. So far I haven't had any problems with godaddy even though I don't really like the layout of their site.

I read that many people had problems renewing and transfering their domains from registerfly. What was your experience? Does registerfly still operate?

Gene Steinberg
06-28-2007, 09:19 PM
registerfly does not operate anymore, ICANN took off the licence, as far as I read on froums godaddy took thedomains transfer registered with registerfly. Directni is also a good option, I have 3 domains with them, my last 5 domains (actually not my as I register domains for my friends) I registered with eskhsoting.com so I recommend them as well

This is an understatement. RegisterFly was a nightmare. They apparently abused customer accounts, so some couldn't renew their domains. Not that I'm happy with Godaddy, but at least they are cheap and usually reliable.

I use namecheap.com, which I heartily recommend for low-cost, efficiency and features.

The above message is being censored by the WebHostingTalk, which doesn't like the illogical decisions of its alleged board monitors questioned :)

Peace,
Gene Steinberg

I will vote for enom :)

Unless you are a large user, however, with a ton of domains, they won't suit. That's why most will use an Enom reseller -- which is what namecheap is, by the way.

I use godaddy for the simple reason that they are among the cheapest and reliable. Obviously you dont need much support from domain registrar :)

i think godaddy domain registration interface is the easiest to use, couple with free webspace when purchasing new domain. the coupon code is another winning point.

After using Namecheap and GoDady so far now we are moving to eNom because of the good reseller price that is offered by eNom via Modernbill.

The Namecheap is evenhanded a simple reseller of enom, they just resell domains on such a great level that they can bid better contracts than greatest of the additional firms out there.

I really like Directi the greatest. 2nd greatest is dynadot I don’t distinguish why. I used to have register fly in the previous but then again it is up to you to choose.

I think RegisterFly is not good as they have misused the accounts of some clients, so their domains could not be renewed. I use Godaddy, which is cheap and trustworthy, other than that I do not find it so great.

In the meantime I even have not stated expending 000 domains, here's the greatest cost operational, on the other hand I even have no curiosity in running totally diverse domain registrations.

These forums have separate place where these Domains are sold. While you may not have choice here over which domain to buy, you can always PM one of these members and ask them to buy your choice of Domain Name if they get a coupon or voucher again.

Even if you're not quite ready to launch a snazzy new website, registering your own website domain name is the first step to creating your own corner of cyberspace. A domain name that reflects your point of view, your business or your product gives you credibility from the public by making you appear more professional. Using keywords in your domain name that reflect your business or product can help drive traffic to your site through search engines and make your site easy for customers to remember. Choosing the right name is the first, and often the hardest, step in registering your domain name.

Registering for a domain is one of the most basic aspects of developing a site, yet at the same time, it can be vital to a site's success. If ranking high on search engines such as Google is of high priority, then it would be advisable to register an "exact match domain".

GoDaddy is the biggest domain name registrar company. Literally a daddy of the domain name industry! They currently have almost 35,654,055 domain names under them, which makes them the most trusted place to buy domain names. Most successful pro-bloggers also register their domain names under GoDaddy. GoDaddy is founded by internet entrepreneur Bob Parsons.

Hostgator and Godaddy provide good services.Domain name register is very easiest and simple process. Nowadays, it would take hardly 20mins to complete the domain name registration process. Domain Name represents your business and it's standard.

I up until recently enjoyed registerfly, but with their recent debacle I've transferred to godaddy. So far I haven't had any problems with godaddy even though I don't really like the layout of their site.
