Hello,
301 and 302 code use for redirection of page. 301 is permanent redirection code, in that page completely redirect to another page with all link juice and 302 is temporary redirection code, in that page temporarily redirect means all lin juice not passes to another page because in case original page can be coming in live.

Sites need to use a 301 redirect when they remove a page from their website. You don’t want to send the search engines or your visitors to a dead page, nor do you want inbound links pointing to that page to go to waste. A 301 redirect will reroute any links (and subsequent link juice) pointing to the dead page to a new page or existing page on your site. A 302 redirect is more of a temporary solution. Think of them like a “We’ll be back in 5 minutes” sign you might see in the window of a local convenience store. You would want to use a 302 redirect for a page that is temporarily unavailable, like if an e-commerce website ran out of stock for one product. You don’t want visitors trying to purchase a product that is unavailable, so you would use a 302 redirect to lead them somewhere else.

Sites need to use a 301 redirect when they remove a page from their website. A 302 redirect is not as “SEO friendly” as a 301 redirect because it does not pass the link juice from one URL to another.

A URL may have to be changed, when a website is updated or applies a new structure. To avoid inbound links losing and PR downgrading, 301 redirection tells the search engines that any links & PR of the old URL now should be given to the new one. Different from 302 redirection and Meta refresh technique, 301 redirection is regarded as "permanent move" and “safe move”, no potential downgrading or punishing risks from search engines. When a search engine sees a 301 redirection, it assumes that all credits for links to the redirecting URL actually belong to the new URL. This helps search engines index the new URLs very quickly. Meanwhile, 301 redirection brings good experience to end-users, rather than showing a 404 error page to users. Thus, 301 redirection contributes a lot to both search engine optimization and user experience of a website.

301 redirects are permanent. They mean that the page has moved, and they request any search engine or user agent coming to the page to update the URL in their database. This is the most common type of redirect that people should use. But they don't use it. Instead they use the Meta refresh tag or 302 server redirects. And this is a dangerous practice. Search engines don't like either of these redirection techniques because they are a common ploy for spammers to use to get more of their domains up in search engine results.

Hello Friends, In simple way 301 & 302 Difference is that

We use 301 redirect when we remove page from our website and we don't want to send our visitors to an unavailable page. It is the process to pointing the dead page to a new page That is permanent process then we use a 301.

In 302 redirection all work is done in temporary basis. In this process we are redirect a existing page to a new page for short time due to modification on that page but after some time we'll get back on original page. That's called 302 redirection

The main difference between a 301 redirect & a 302 redirect is that 301 is a permanent redirect while 302 is a temporary redirect.

301 redirect: A 301 redirect means that the page has permanently moved to a new location.
302 redirect: A 302 redirect means that the move is only temporary. Search engines need to figure out whether to keep the old page, or replace it with the one found at the new location.
