Unrelated Forum Posting!!

I have create my profile in high page rank forum but not do any post on it only create my profile for getting back links from forum profile but After Penguin update is right to crate profile in irrelevant site or forum?

only post forum according to your website theme like travel than post travel related forums.

Posting in unrelated forums would not rank better in search engine. Try to choose niche forum site and post it.
