Does anyone bothered by ******************************'s "auto upgrade" email like me?

I am really mad about a hosting company, it's called ******************************.

I have been their customer for 3 years.

About six months ago, this company keep emailing his "auto upgrade" email to me, first, I saw the email, and I clicked the link to cancel upgrade.

But later, when I not very often open my email account, they still keep sending auto upgrade massages, at least one email per month.

So once I didn't notice their email, so they billed me automatically. After two weeks, I found I was billed, I send complain email to them.

I tell them they should not send auto upgrade to their customer because people may not notice that, there are so many emails daily, it is possible for anyone to ignore one or two important emails.

They claimed I can cancel this service, so I didn't say more.

After weeks later, I received auto upgrade email , and I opened it, I found they now put a "opt-out" link in the email.

You know what opt-out mean, if we click opt-out, we should not receive this email, right?

But I found I still received auto upgrade email, and I was billed again!!

I have very unhappy experience with them before, they always billed me when I didn't notice.

I still used their service because I had a business site on their server.

But you know what, weeks ago I decide to cancel an account which I never used(an I also remember I cancel that account year ago), they accidently cancel another account!

I have a little business site which generated about 500 USD. per month, and they just deleted all files under that account!

Funny thing is, I emailed about 5 times, they just sent an email to me said:

Hey, we are sorry, you can now access your account.

Then I login in, and see there is no files in it, so I complained again one week ago, they never replied me anyway.

Today, I found they billed me again, it just made me so mad!

Like I mentioned before, first , I opt-out their auto upgrade email weeks ago, I should not received that kind of "service"(if you call it is service) anymore, secondly, my account's files was just been deleted 10 days ago, and they even didn't say sorry to me, they didn't find my files back!

Oh my, ****************************** is the worst company I have ever met, and I suggest you don't use their service.

I lose more than 1000 USD. by using their service, 2 yrs of hosting services which I never need to use, one time auto upgrade which I noticed after one month later, and more than one month, my site can not work, I am still working on building a new site because I lose all files and customers lists.

Seriously, ****************************** s**k! Don't use it, or you'll be like me, waste time to coomplain about their service, and waste time to ask your money back because you have been billed automatically "AGAIN"!

I didn't know thta they send "auto-upgrade" email to their clients. WHy do they do that? Do they do it if you are going over your web space or bandwidth quotas?

No, I used less than 5% bandwidth and disc space.

They did that for a long time, at least 6 months.

Did you ask the company about it directly?

Yes, they said I can cancel it, and I really cancel that kind of email offer.

I click the opt-out link, and I was going to a page showed: thank you, you'll not receive anymore. That's about 20 days ago.

But I still received and charged for upgrade fee last week, so I decided after they refund my upgrade fee, I will cancel account.

I have saw a guy claimed he was charged again after he canceled account by ******************************, which he wrote a review of ****************************** on alexa.com.

Now I am now worry about it, I consider to change my card number.

Actually, I remembered I also canceled my another account(I have two accounts at ******************************) and tell them not to renow my account last year, they still charged me annunal fee. But I can not remember what happen one year ago, so I decide to accept the fact, maybe I forgot to cancel account last year.

And about the issue they deleted my files, I sent an email again to their support two days ago, they have not replied.

I think they don't think it is a big deal to delete my files because I am not a rich man or big guy, especially I live in far asia, and don't speak english, I can only complain through email.

The funny thing is, two years ago, I can not submit help ticket to their billing support, today I still can't.

Their billing support has an email, but they don't put on website, you have to ask support for that. Everytime I submit help ticket to their billing support, I always got an email tell me to email them.

It is a small thing, but, it shows how unprofessional their service is.

what plan u using now?
cost 1000USD ?? for 2 years?
