Hey everyone,
So my life pretty much revolves around marketing, I have loved it from the moment I realized someone was researching and recording everything we did in stores, online, ordered from magazines. Everything. So recently I have been researching the concept of selling the intangible. Pretty much any services - products tend to be tangible lol. But there seems to be a pretty specific art to selling the intangible, which I don't have experience in. One of the few fields I haven't sold sold sold in :)
Well, I found this article detailing a few tips for selling intangibles (http://www.jobs.net/Article/CB-59-Talent-Network-Retail-Nothing-to-See-Here-How-to-Sell-Intangibles/) and I wanted to get the opinion of other sellers. Have you sold intangibles before? How did you engage the customer when you didn't have a product to show them?
As per usual, any and all comments are appreciated!
