Just a quick reminder that DST is this weekend. For many computer users this has become a big issue as it is 3 weeks earlier then usual.

For those using Outlook or Exchange, not updating the patches for DST 2007 can cause calendar items and tasks to be off by an hour. This is due to the way computers deal with dates and times.

Basic info can be read at http://support.microsoft.com/dst2007.
More detailed info on the patches and updating Microsoft Exchange can be viewed at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb267339.aspx.

For those who use Exchange in a hosted environment check with your Exchange provider what you need to do, in what order and when. Applying a client patch before a server patch could cause the client patch to be overwritten when the server is updated.

Daylight Saving time is also called as summer time or daylight saving time. In 2005 various countries, additionally the united states of America and Canada, when daylight savings time begins and ends, passed legislation changing. That change takes effect in 2007 and the change daylight savings time will begin on March 11th and end on November 4th.
