Numbers of visitors gone down?

I used to get around 1000 visitors per day till a week ago..but now a days only 50-60 visitors coming to my site..I dont know what happened,Can any one help me? i also want to know what should i do to get more traffic?

Are you talking about your total visits on the site ?
Did you check if the date range is always the same when you are comparing the number of visits ?

i change the date everyday..usually i use to get 50-60 visitors till the end of the day.
