Outbound link is the one that links out from one domain to another.
So the link from your website to another website would be outbound link for you. But at the same time that link for that website would be an inbound link.

External links or outbound links are links that link off your site to somewhere else on the Internet. Outbound links play a critical role in your overall linking strategy. Outbound links are an excellent way to help readers, and to forge connections with other bloggers. In general the more links you have coming into your site from outside websites, the better.

Any link from your website or blog to another website blog is an outbound link. Outbound link are from one blog to another. Outbound link are sent visitor to your sites. Outbound links are the links placed on a page that point to an external location such as another website etc. Outbound Links are a good indicator of the quality of a Back link.
