Directory website design challenge

Factors exist, we need to consider when we are working to build and launch a directory site? Although I can hire professionals to do it for me, I still enjoy the benefits of a website by myself in the hands of the idea. I have to investigate the location of multiple sources on the Internet, web design templates, but did not suit my taste. I have very specific needs when it comes to custom functions and labels. Do you think it is still worthy of their own or should I hire a professional?

Yeah!! If you wanna design it unique and as per your need, then you must go for professional.
