We've just switched from Windows to Linux hosting and our vbulletin web board is much running faster even though the Linux box has only 1/8 of CPU and RAM. :cool:

That's because PHP and MySQL are for UNIX. ALthough Windows supports them, it wasn't designed for PHP and MySQL.
