BB stands for "Bulletin Board". BBCode or Bulletin Board Code is a lightweight markup language used to format posts. It is similar to html but has a simple syntax. HTML uses < and > BBCode uses [ and ]. You can see all the bbcodes at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BBCode

BB stands for "Bulletin Board". BB Code was first created in February 1998, and was used in the forum software UBB v3.0. It allows people who don't know about HTML to still manipulate the way their text will look on the web. The following table should explain how to use BB Code.

BBCode is a special implementation of HTML. Whether you can actually use BBCode in your posts on the forum is determined by the administrator.

BBCode or Bulletin Board Code is a lightweight markup language used to format posts in many message boards. It is used as a way for formatting posts made on message boards, blogs and more. It is similar to HTML in the sense that in BBCode one does also use tags to format something specific (contained within the tag). In BBCode tags are indicated by rectangular brackets surrounding a keyword, which is in turn transformed into HTML before being delivered to a web browser.

BBCode or Bulletin Board Code is a lightweight markup language used to format posts in many message boards. The available tags are usually indicated by square brackets ([ ]) surrounding a keyword, and they are parsed by the message board system before being translated into a markup language that web browsers understand—usually HTML or XHTML.

BB code is a set of tags based on the HTML language that you may already be familiar with. They allow you to add formatting to your messages in the same way as HTML does, but have a simpler syntax and will never break the layout of the pages you are viewing.

BB code is nothing but a Bulletin Board Code. It is a set of tags which are already used in the HTML. It is lightweight markup language. It consists of very simpler sytax than compare with HTML. For Example We are using <b> text </b> for the as HTML code to appear bold text at web server but by using the BB code just give brackets like this. text .

BBCode is a special implementation of HTML. Whether you can actually use BBCode in your posts on the forum is determined by the administrator. In addition you can disable BBCode on a per post basis via the posting form. BBCode itself is similar in style to HTML, tags are enclosed in square brackets [ and ] rather than < and > and it offers greater control over what and how something is displayed. Depending on the template you are using you may find adding BBCode to your posts is made much easier through a clickable interface above the message area on the posting form.
