Review for www.advancednetworkhosting.com or www.advancednetworkhosts.com or Advanced Network Hosting located at 799 Roosevelt Rd Ste #6-001, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 USA.
Warning, this host is unethical, uncontactable and acts fraudulently and does not honor their 30 day refund policy nor provide anything near a 99% uptime. I would never in a blue fit recommend Advanced Network Hosting, infact use any other hosting firm except AdvancedNetworkHosting.Com !!
My web page was basically inaccessable for nearly a 2 weeks period, and performed slowly for the month preceeding this. AdvancedNetworkHosting.com was uncontactable by telephone, email and fax for this entire period. Support tickets generated were responded to with "what problem" or "we have no problem" or "try again now, the problem has been fixed." I eventually demanded to speak with the owner who apologised and to his credit, offered me 2 additional months free. Well, being for a whole $14 it hardly made any difference to the $10,000 of online orders that we had missed.
I had 3 different web page monitoring tools telling me my uptime was between 70%-80% only. The first being my own tool, WhatsUpGold (I have retained the logs pending possible legal action against AdvancedNetworkhosting.com,) which is used by Cisco as part of their network monitoring tools. The second is Google Adwords which reported my webpage as inaccessible on many occasions, the third is the InternetSeer monitoring service that reported constand 20-30 minute outages on our web page. It was only AFTER I presented this undeniable evidence to ADVANCEDNETWORKHOSTS.COM that they finally promised to fix the problems, which until then, they had not accepted responsiblity for and even denied any fault existed. Below I have attached my correspondence from Google and AdvancedNetworkingHosts to substantiate these claims.
Needless to say, the faults at Advanced Network Hosting continued. I told them I was going to change hosts as they were continuing to damage by business, they were uncontactable, unhelpful and unsympathetic to my problems being caused by them. They denied my 30 day money back guarantee and started ignoring me completely. It was only after I threatened to change hosts and dispute my credit card transaction that they said I was contracually bound and could not change to my chosen host (aparently Advanced Network Hosting was a break away group from the host I had chosen, go figure.) The reason I've decided to document this is that this company had the nerve to dispute, my credit card dispute. So not only did they not fix or even admit they had a problem until weeks had pasted and I presented them with undeinable evidense of faults on their network, refused to honor their 30 day refund policy, or provide anything close to a 99% uptime, they then further rubbed salt into my wounds by disputing my dispute!
Now, I can prove without a doubt that our online sales suffered terribly during this 2 weeks period and were back to normal the same day I moved hosts - the very same day! I think I have more than enough real evidence to pursue them for damamges if it was at all worth my while, yet they threated me with legal action if I am to post this review of their hopeless and deceiptful practices. That just waving a red flag infront of the bull as far as I am concerned. They are free to sue me for what ever damages they like. They are the ones that crippled my business for over 2 weeks, and freedom of speach allows me to say anything, provide that it is true. So again, attached following is the admission from Advanced Networking Hosts owner, Doug Walker, of their fault and the impact on my domain.
Firms such as this get that is coming to them, and word soon spreads about how they treat their customers. Furthermore, I never actually signed up or chose AdvancedNetworkHosts.com, I originally joinged another firm that appears to have sold its business to Doug Walker - I am not entiresly sure on this point.
I've challenged my credit card transactions from AdvancedNetworkHosting.com and are anticipating a full refund through the credit card disputes system.
