I have reged some domains with SiberName.com (http://www.sibername.com/en/canadianwebhosting/). It's a Canadian domain registrar. They also provide shared web hosting. Do you think it's reasonable to reg a domain and host it with one company?

I think that is. ake sure that you are allowed to move from their web hosting anytime you want and transfer domain name. If both that acconts is separate.

Sure, do whatever you want to do :)
Atleast this way your only paying one bill, right?
It may not work out though, as most domain registrars are not really very good web hosting companies. Then again, you never know.

Still I want to note that Sibername.com is a hosting provider first, Windows hosting btw, and only then a domain registrar.

It is perfectly ok to book a domain and host with the same company.

I usually prefer to keep domain registration and hosting (dedicated or shared) with different companies, as it looks safer for me.

It is okay, but not advicable. i recommend you spend a $7 for your domain to ensure complete control. hosts can sometimes make it difficult for you to move if they have control over your domain.

Yes why not? If you are satisfied with the domain name services, you might also be interested in giving their hosting services a try as well.

Have you made sure that different accounts are used for their domain names and web hosting services?
