At max, between 2 to 3 percentages keyword density is good for web page content and this density depends on the total number of words of the content. The formula will help you to calculate keyword density and how many number of times keywords appear in the content.

Percentage of keyword density = Number of times keyword occur in the content /Total Number of words * 100

For example, if you want to write article for 800 words then you would have maintain keyword density between 2 to 3 percentages. Hence within above formula you can decide how many times you would have repeat particular keyword in the web content.

2 = Number of times keyword occur in the content/800 *100
200= Number of times keyword occur in the content/800
Number of times keyword occur in the content=800/200
Number of times keyword occur in the content = 4

Hence you can use same keyword 4 times in the 800 words content.
