As per SEO perspective, Website’s rank in Google is better because it will help to build brand in the market, increase traffic of the website/webpage. If website ranks well in the search engine then it will automatically get traffic.

But as per organization perspective, genuine traffic is important for conversion because genuine traffic will help to increase sales of the organization. Including search engine, social media is also one of the best resources to get traffic.

Hence, both traffic and search engine’s rank in Google is important for website/webpage to be popular in the market.

No one will argue about that (even though there are other factors involved) the point is that the Google Page Rank is no longer the leading point in forming the top results. The question of Traffic vs Page Rank would have been relevant a little time ago, but the latest search algorithm changes made the Rank quite redundant. :cool:

PageRank hasn't been updated since February this year. It's probably never gonna be updated, for this year surely no more updates... So you better be safe than sorry, don't risk relying on factors with questionable significance. ;)
