From authority itself means from brand.
From Reseller.

From Re-sellers, because they buy SSL Certificates in bulk and get massive savings than the retail price. The re-sellers give that benefit to their customers. If users directly go to the authority itself then they will get SSL Certificate at retail prices because they can only purchase 1 or 2 certificates from there and wouldn't get advantage of discount.
