First of all it is important to be sure that it was indeed Hummingbird that affected your website. This might be a little tricky, as Google announced that update more than 30 days after it was applied and there are also suspicions that the update started even before that. There were some threads opened in the Google forum long before this update was announced with similar problems to yours, but Google denied all those accusations.

If you think that Hummingbird is the cause of your issues, there are just a few pointers on how you can do damage control.

First of all review your whole website and remove all duplicate content. Once you tidy up and keep it all unique, make sure to follow this tip in the future as its the basis of Hummingbird - create unique, creative, helpful texts that are all relevant to your website and services. Same goes for forum posting and other communities you are involved in.

Also check your keywords, sin ce the Panda update, Google is fighting "black hat" techniques, like keyword stuffing, so if you have thousands and thousands of keywords, which are just with added prefix/suffix/plural etc, most probably you were hit by the update.

As for your links, use any webmaster tool to download your link table and go through the links, trying to create rel= "dofollow" links. This is what Hummingbird would be searching for.

All in all, you won't be able to revert everything just the way it was, you can only fix your holes and work for the future to comply with this search algorithm.

Hope I`ve been helpful.

I think you should do more White Hat SEO, especially on content. Hummingbird is designed to help searchers to look for URLs that match their exact needs, at 100% if possible.
