Hey, if you want good ranking for your website then I don't think forum posting can alone do it. Forum posting is ok, but you also have to use some other techniques like social bookmarking, web2. 0, video creation, video submission, image backlinking, ppt/pdf etc... Try to use more technique and create more backlinks.
