What hosting service has the best email service? Ideally I am looking for squirrelmail, horde, cpanel, boxtrapper, and spamassassin (maybe roundcube)in that order of importance. The host I have been with since 1999 is losing ground in a hurry so I am looking to change from 1 to 4 domains. My primary site I use mostly for email than the actual website. Cost is important but not to the extent of dealing with poor service.

I am not sure of the future or if I will need easy access to email via cell phone or other mobile devices.A hosting company with a record of good service and constant improvement is vital.

Any Recomendations?

Welcome to Iwebtool, K.B.!

Try looking up email service from sibername.com - this company offers everything yoг was asking about and they are stable and affordable. I believe they could become a solution for you.

Nice email features many companies offer -apthost.com, ipowerweb.com, globaltap.com, etc.- and I believe their features will be enough for you. Prices are low on their package plans and you don't need to pay extra money.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll check them out.

How does one know if they are buying hosting from a reseller who bought from a reseller....

There are umteen hosting companies out there. How can I find a reliable one that is not just a one man show but also not the godaddy of hosts?

I have found hundreds of dead ends so far.

Edit -<<<
sibername looks good but it is a canadian host - I have had other dealings across the border that just were extra effort and expense due to the border crossing - I'll pass
ipowerweb doesn't appear to use cpanel
apthost looks good so far
globaltap is still a possibility
glowhost is still on my possible list

Klimm - whatever happened to your quest with sharkspace? I followed a thread that just deadended about you hosting with them.

From these companies it would be pretty hard to choose. I'd rather [pay more attention to glowhost.com - they look like very stable host. Also I've seen several reviews on them - most people telling they are just excellent. and I was pretty much impressed after having a look at their site...

You always get what you pay for. That is the main rule here.

This is a golden rule of web hosting and the basis of it. ;)

This is a golden rule of web hosting and the basis of it.

Golden rules are impossible to break, but this rule is broken by many pseudo-cheap companies. Some offers are rally unreasonable.

@OP - pay more attention to the glowhost.com - this company should have really stable environment and reasonable prices.

Among all suggestions in this thread sibername.com appears to be the best, as they are really great provider with affordable prices and email features. The more so because they have really great specialized email hosting offers

Wanna add that serverpoint.com can be good for your needs, they provide email features in their package plans as well.
The company is reliable in itself and think you will not have any issues using their services.
