I think that's the best explanation of page rank out there - the forumal is pretty open and the patent is also available for reading but Google obviously doesn't reveal everything.


IMO - SERP positioning is more important than page rank.

Normally Google won't share in any website / blogs about how it gives and update page rank. Domain age and page visits are major factors for determining a page rank of a website.
