It will be not good to get back links on short keywords until it clarifies the meaning of the keyword phrase. e. g. 'web designing' is a keyword and it may be in New York or Toronto or in other city of the world. So it will be useful for adding some extra keywords to it so that its meaning can change to avail the right information. "Best Web designing Company in New York" seems to be more meaningful than the short keyword 'web designing' only. I think it will more clear for you now.
