Why Google Webmaster shows only 1000 Backlinks?

My Backlinks in webmaster account is more than 20000.But While i opened that list of backlinks it shows only 1000.Why?

I think so your some link will be lost that why this is showing.

Google doesn't count all the links. It counts only quality back links. So, always build quality back links to get high search engine rankings in Google.
