PPC is the Pay Per Click, where you have to par for every click to search which search engine used for PPC. Per click coast depends on what bidding coast have you setup in search engine for specific keywords. Whereas SEO is the free service for promote your keywords.

In my point of view both are better but the only difference is that for PPC you can pay to Google.

SEO- Search engine Optimization: If you want to promote a website in natural way without spending an amount but have plenty of time means this is the right place. for long term results SEO is preferable.
PPC- Pay Per Click: If you want to promote your website and having enough amount to spend on it then This is the right place and it will produce immediate results.

PPC Stands for Pay Per Click. It's one of paid way marketing to get traffic to site while SEO Stands for Search Engine Optimization, it's one of free technique to get higher traffic to site. PPC is best option to get immediate traffic while SEO is one of time consumed method to increase organic visit. I recommend SEO for beginners because of it's safe way for the website promotion in Search Engine.

SEO gives you organic search query by organic result while PPC gives you paid result. SEO gives you long lasting results while PPC gives you short term result as per your budget. SEO takes a time for site ranking on SE while PPC gives you instant result.

see SEO and PPC are two different ways of promoting a website . in seo as we know we list our website in various search engines and we look after the site ranking in the search engine, by maintaining our site by looks , info, content, performance etc. and other things like submitting links of our site to other related sites. but in PPC which is called pay per click we pay for the as many as clicks, our site viewers click the site, and we pay for the ads we made in other sites, this is also a way of promoting the site, other ways are blogging , writing article about our site, joining forums, etc.

PPC (Pay Per Click), on the other hand, is all about paying for advertising space for specific target keywords on search results pages.
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is all about getting your website to rank higher in natural/organic search results for target keywords on the most important search engines: Google, Yahoo, and Bing.
