Changing Sitemap File will affect the keyword ranking result?

Some errors were occurred in my sitemap file on web master account.So can i delete my existing sitemap file and upload the new sitemap xml file on Google web master account?Will this affect my website keyword ranking result?

Hi Uthra,
Yes you can use a new xml sitemap for your website this is beneficial for your site. May be affect some thing website keywords ranking while re-indexing you web page but it is recoverable after renewing xml sitemap.

It will never have a great impact with the website rankings. While uploading your new sitemap, the seach engines will cache the same URLS as that of the previous sitemap which can never affect your SERP rankings at large.

There is no must impact on changing sitemap.xml files

It will not effect much more.Slightly it will be effect.Once the new sitemap is indexed will be normal position back.
