Cross linking refers to the process of linking between two sites. Whether or not they are owned by the same person, cross linking is the process on which the internet is built. It allows users to reference sites with content similar to that which they are already viewing, and may be of further interest to them.

Cross linking can be also be termed as reciprocal link building where two websites exchange links with each other by mutual understanding to get traffic and link. But this technique can harm both the websites as this is no longer valid and violate rules of SEs.

In chemistry and biology a cross-link is a bond that links one polymer chain to another. These links may take the form of covalent bonds or ionic bonds and the polymers can be either synthetic polymers or natural polymers.

Cross-Linking is defined as the process of linking one webpage to another, meaning the content on your webpage that links to another page on your website. You can also term it as anchor texts. It is the art of creating links within a website. For example, if you have a webpage talking about on-page factors, you will definitely mention meta description, title tags, etc. You having another webpage talking particularly about meta descriptions, you might link meta descriptions with on-page factors. This is known as linking one webpage to another.

SEO cross-links are just links to other pages on your website, linking related keywords to related content. These links help establish the permissions of the pages on your website and allow viewers to access related content more easily, allowing them to stay on your website longer when viewing multiple pages.

SEO crosslinks are simply linked to other pages on your website, linking relevant keywords to related content. These links help build up the authority of pages on your website and allow viewers to more easily access related content, thus keeping them on your website longer while they view multiple pages.
