Dyanahost has been open for about 7 years now I believe, which is a pretty good time. There reviews that I have looked at seem pretty good, is the monthly service good? because if it is I would go with yearly.

If I were you, I would better pay monthly in order to avoid problems which can exist in the future. And it will be more secure. As for recommendation, have a look at globaltap.com web hosting offers - you know, cheap host is not good, but good host is not cheap!
Yearly is actually a great option - you dont have to worry about making monthly payments - all of my hosting plans are based yearly because n one ever buys the monthly anymore .... I just suggest making sure you have a backup of your site and databases "just in case" For $10 you can surely try them out and if it doesnt work out go back to your old host or try someone else out. Just make sure to do your research on them - like how long have they been in business, their support responses etc... In fact send them a support question and see if their response time is acceptable to you.
Actually i do not think yearly billing is that popular, as RH1 has said, but still dayanahost.com makes an impression of stable host, the moe so because having long experience. I belive you do not need to worry about their hosting, and get their cheap yearly billed account.

If you know how they are as provider you can subscribe then. But for the first time that is high risk in any case

there are positive and negative of paying annually.
negative
More cash you invest in upfront
if your provider close their business, you can not get your money back.
Positive
you get better saving.
you do not need to worry about montly payment
You can more focus on building your business. that is the best!:)

I would also name 7host.com as the reliable company offering annual billing. They their plans (windows based) are priced reasonabley and they have enough experience as well.

If a website outgrows a hosting plan, you are paying anually and the load is causing problems your host is not going to want you to stay the full year you've paid for. Whether or not they'd give a partial refund I can't say, but I don't think it's very fair to keep all the money if you have no choice but to move to a different package/host during that year.
Make sure to keep an eye on the terms and conditions before dedicating yourself to a long term contract. Or, you can contact their support beforehand and ask them how they deal with such situations so that you don't end up with any surprises.
