Google penguin optimized content for websites

This is a very interesting update that Google launched, and no one can blame Google for this, the fact is that Google was forced to do this for the simple reason that website content (http://top-seo-tools.iexpertsforum.com/) all over the internet was becoming a little weird, with websites making a great attempt to manipulate search engines. These are called black hat SEO techniques, and are not appreciated any more by search engines.

Know about Top SEO Tools (http://top-seo-tools.iexpertsforum.com/)

Some of the things that were going all wrong for a while were content that was too rich in keywords; this resulted in very low quality readable material. The end result of this is that such websites for a while did get optimized simply for the fact that they had the search engines convinced that for the topic the viewer typed in they had the most relevant result. The end result is what was called keyword stuffing, which is now against the penguin web content rules.

This is an important change which needs to be kept in mind, and this means that they need to be strictly adhered to. Penguin doesn’t take lightly to black hat SEO any more, this results in a poor reader experience and in the end they do not appreciate this at all.

Quality and quantity of content:

Some of the other things that need to be kept in mind are those that are associated with the quality of the content and the length of the content. Every piece of content needs to be at least 300 words or more, this is the minimum that Google understands as valuable content, which is enough to educate the reader about any particular topic.

What Google means by quality of content are the following, the content needs to be original, it needs to have the correct degree of keywords, it should not have sections of it that are in the same color as the background of the page, eg white writing on a white page in an attempt to fool search engines and so on. All the content which is posted on any site needs to follow these simple rules.

Linking your site to others:

This is another one of those important things that need to be kept in mind. Links are what internet robots or spiders use to travel the web, this means that the better linked your site is the better Google and other search engines can index it. Another point to keep in mind is this, link building is one of the most important things that there is, and this is due to the fact that the wider the reach of your website, the more visitors you will get.

Panda is however particular about link building, typically marketing companies in the past were very good at posting links on sites that have nothing to do with the website. This in search engines eyes is spam, and gets your site negatively marked. It’s important to keep those links in relevant, if the original site is about food the links that you post should also be about food, you cannot link your site to a site that is all about cars or motor sports.
