Instead of focusing on positioning a Web site for one or two popular words and with high competition (which can take a long time), we must investigate the Long Tail as there is much less competition, will be easier and take the SEO less time. A more keywords or keywords Long Tail more chance of achieving our objectives.

it is suggested to target long tail keywords as these are far less competitive than short keywords. It is been years people are on web, and short keywords have already been won by old websites. And statistically percentage of long queries searched is more than that of short keywords. Though average search of long queries if less, but number of long queries is more. Take keywords which are more likely responsible for increased sale even if they have less average searches.

My option is short tail keyword is best. Long tail keywords are rank easily compare to short keywords but its not generate good traffic but short tail keywords are generate good traffic to website.
