Looking to start a job search site. What are some good web hosting sites to host a job search site? Would like something that's not too expensive.
Many down in the offers section, as well as in the hostsearch.com directory. Just depeneds on what you plan on using for scripting. php vs asp etc...

Low cost hosting services are available from hqhost.net, ipowerweb.com and iwhic.com. They all offer many web master friendly package plans and I do believe you will be happy with them.

What are the requirements for the web site? Which web application are you going to use ?
If it is brand new website you can look for shared package which are generally less expensive.

I think you may have a good suitable account with such company as mmhosting.com which offers pretty resourceful multidomain hosting fro affordable price
Also take a look at such provider as webintellects.com - they seem to have really excellent and inexpensive hosting accounts with unmetered specifications with future possibility of upgrade.

If you have no idea which host to go with, just stick with Hostgator. Generally speaking, they are the most popular choice for web hosting.

I believe that OP is not interested in that. He acted as crazy poster and flood the forums
But they have almost 200 posts, haven't mods seen his strange activity before?
@OP: I think that something like a2hosting.com would be good enough for you. I suppos the company is quite stable and supports everything needed for such sites.
Hoster - yes Oracle was actually banned for posting from other forums (at least we suspected) and his ban timed out, he hasnt been back since. So yes we saw it. However removing that many posts takes up way too much time to do.
On another note, Ive seen the same poster in another set of forums doing the same thing.

As others mentioned there are quite a good amount of hosts that could handle you. You will need to be more specific on your needs like budget, space, bandwidth. Looking to not spend to much? Look at shared to start and then grow from there so you don't spend to much.

But if that is the search site for the SE he will need dedicated server and he will need to have conversation with web hosting provider to discuss everything he is going to host

If you want to succeed in your business, don't look at the price of your hosting, as quality is much more important, web hosting expense is a small portion of your business anyway.
