Instead of thinking about the quantity of the text,
we should think more about the quality of the content on the page
and how much words(content) of the page is required is decided by the quality of the page.
but mostly every visitors wants a brief information about a topic so thats why use the less words or contents on a single page

According to website but above 100 word is best. you always use unique content its effect your ranking too much.

For a single page website, limiting the content amount is very essential. If your website is loaded with huge content, then it’s loading time increases. According to me, 350 – 400 words would be perfect.
