Dmoz is an open-content directory of different website links. It is a human edited directory. It is very popular.

for me dmoz is the real thing when it comes to web directories and it is definitely worth more than having a listing in this directory rather than having in any other directory even if considered some top paid directories. But I must say that it is very very very difficult to get listed on dmoz and i guess you will not find a person who can answer this question that how to get guaranteed listing dmoz other than a person from dmoz team.
