Your new host will usually transfer the website over for you, but it should not effect your rankings because you are keeping the same keywords/files and domain name. All your doing is changing server and its still connected to the internet. Aslong as google can crawl your website you should not have any problem.

The most convenient way to transfer your website's files to your new web hosting account is via FTP. You should connect to your hosting account and download the files locally to your computer. Then upload them to your new hosting account's main folder (usually public_html, www or httpdocs).
