Bounce rate is the percentage of single-page visits or visits in which the person left your site from the entrance page. Use this metric to measure visit quality - a high bounce rate generally indicates that site entrance pages aren't relevant to your visitors.

Bounce rate can only be reduced by improving the quality and quantity of the content on your website. The content should be very well related to the topic as well as of interest to the visitor.

High bounce rate in itself doesn't mean it is a bad site. I would think Google looks to see if you continue your search, going back to the Google search results and looking at more sites.I really doubt that bounce rate make a different on SERP.

Bounce Rate is the percentage of visitors that hit your website on a given page and don’t visit any other pages on your site.

Bounce rate (sometimes confused with exit rate) is an Internet marketing term used in web traffic analysis. It represents the percentage of visitors who enter the site and then leave ("bounce") rather than continuing on to view other pages within the same site.

Bounce rate can be reduced by useful & relevant content. You can use images to increase user's interest. A video is also a good option to increase user engagement.

When a user land on a webpage then Google software measure the time of the user stay on the webpage..If user don't stay on your webpage then your bounce rate is high..So it is necessrey to your website your site bounce rate is too much low.
