Hi there!

PageRank is what Google uses to determine the relative importance of a web page. It's one of many factors used to determine which pages appear in search results and the Search Engine Result Page is the listing of the result where you can find the Page Ranks that response to the keyword that is typed by the user.

Hope it helps!! :)

Page rank is an algorithm which is used by the google to find out the relative importance of a website. Every PageRank is having the score between 0 to 10. A search engine results page (SERP) is the listing of results returned by a search engine in response to a keyword query.

PageRank is a numeric value that represents how important a page is on the web. Let’s call it Google’s rating or grade for your webpage (0 = lowest, 10 = highest).
Google is secretive about how they calculate PageRank. In a later post I will discuss what we know of PageRank and how you can influence it.

SERP means Search Engine Ranking Page. This is what you look at multiple times a day. It’s the (first) page of results Google gives you when you are searching for a keyword or a keyword combination.
For example: suppose you have the No 3 spot on the 1st page of Google on the term ‘social media marketing’. This means that your website has a SERP 3 on this specific combination of keywords.

Page rank is just a gimmick! It is just for fun and measures the popularity of your webpage in search engines. The page rank algorithm has been stopped updating since the past two days and SERP is of more importance. Search engine ranking helps to bring you business and traffic to your website.
