Google Panda is a change to Google's search results ranking algorithm that was first released in February 2011. The change aimed to lower the rank of "low-quality sites" or "thin sites", and return higher-quality sites near the top of the search results.

Hi prakashsharmas! :)

Google Panda is the on-going algorithm updates and data refreshes of Google search engine that helps to improve the value of search query results for the users. This is to elevate the high-quality websites to the top of the organic search results while lowering and penalizing the rank of lower-quality or thin websites or pages. :)

Google Panda is an update in google that checks all the search results and removes suspicious websites that are known to abuse the search engine optimization procedure by grabbing a too much optimized domain name for a website to be placed on top of search results.

Hello Friends,

This article remains the best available description of how the Google Panda algorithm works. There is no justification for scraping together random, unsourced comments (and summarizing rather than quoting the original videos and articles) and calling that an explanation of Panda.

Google Panda is to stop sites with poor quality content from working their way into Google’s top search results. Panda is updated from time-to-time. When this happens, sites previously hit may escape, if they’ve made the right changes.
