Hallo,

I often use the saved passwords of my Firefox browser to see and sometimes erase the passwords...only everytime I must go to Tools - Options - Safety - saved password.
I was arguing if there is a way to insert a link in the toolbar to simplify and speed up this task.

Thank you and hallo to everyone.

I have a theme with Firefox3 to try and make it more like Safari.

The 1Password icon in the button stays looking like the firefox-style one, not the button design you have made for Safari.

Any way of choosing to use the Safari style button in Firefox?

Thanks.

I use the Lastpass addon. It allows you to access you stored passwords at any location as long as you have the Lastpass addon installed, and it supports the autofill form function as well.

This extension adds buttons to the Customize Toolbar Window. To move them from there to the Toolbar you must right click the toolbar and press customize, select what buttons you want to use and drag them to the toolbar.

There are now over 100 Firefox, 50 for Thunderbird, and 25 for Sunbird. I have received requests for more buttons to be added, this version addressed a number of those requests but not all, I am working on added them now.

If you don't want so many button in one extension you can choose individually from a list here:- http://codefisher.org/toolbar_button/toolbar_button_maker

I’d always use padding for something like that anyway. Otherwise you might run into a few problems if your buttons are dynamic and split onto two lines or if the user wants to increase their font size in their browser. Padding is definitely the most flexible solution in this situation :)

* Through the Password Manager, you can review the actual passwords that are stored by Firefox, which is helpful if you forget your password to a site.

IE PassView doesn’t require any installation process or additional DLLs. In order to start using it, just copy the executable file (iepv.exe) to any folder like, and run it. After running iepv.exe, IE PassView scans all Internet Explorer passwords in your system, and display them on the main window.

Firefox has an add one "Password Save 0.5" which brings up a plain text listing of your passwords in a browser window that can be easily copy-pasted or saved to the hard-drive.

Try it.

You can backup your entire Firefox profile directory, but if you just want to keep a backup copy, or have a need to sync them with another Computer, the Firefox extension Password Exporter is all you need.

Password Exporter allows you to export and import your saved usernames and passwords between Computers or keep as a backup copy. Your passwords will be exported to an XML or CSV file and can be encrypted.

Mozilla Password Recovery is the program that help you to reveal the AutoFill passwords for Firefox, Mozilla and SeaMonkey browsers, as well as the account passwords of the Thunderbird mail client. The program traditionally offers you two recovery modes: automatic and manual. With this utility you can also recover user Master Password, view browser Cookies, autocomplete data and URL history.

Firefox Password Recovery Tool is designed to decrypt sign-on secrets stored by Mozilla Firefox web browser. Firefox records the login details such as username and password for every website authorized by the user and stores them in the sign-on database file in encrypted format.

The CyberNet Technology News blog has a simple solution for getting Firefox to save your username and password for those sites that won't let you store your password.

The method is simple. You add a Password Saver bookmarklet to your Firefox toolbar, and when you end up at a site that won't let you save your login info, just click the bookmarklet, then log in as you normally would. This time you'll be able to tell Firefox to remember your password.

Firefox Password recovers lost Firefox Master Password and saved login passwords. To start the recovery, you should specify the folder where FireFox is installed and the folder with Firefox profiles. Normally, Firefox is installed in the C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox folder, and profiles are kept in the C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox folder. Firefox password automatically figures the folders at these locations; you may want to change them in the non-standard situations; for example, if you want to extract passwords using data files copied from another computer.

You can either specify the "profile root folder" (the folder that contains the profiles.ini file, which lists all available profiles) or the data folder for a specific user profile. If the "profile root folder" is selected, and there are several profiles available, Firefox Password will ask you to select the profile to recover.

The next step is to find the Master Password. If you know the Master Password, enter it and then click Continue. If the Master Password is unknown, you have to recover it first. The universal password recovery methods, such as Brute Force Attack and Dictionary Attack, will be used. If the password is long enough, this may take a lot of time. Use our Password Calculator to estimate the recovery time. If no Master Password is set, this step will be omitted.

On the last step, Firefox Password displays all the login information stored by Firefox. Once the Master Password is known, there is no delay to decrypt and display the login information. For each item, the URL, login name and password data will be displayed. Please note that only saved passwords will be shown by Firefox Password. If user has entered a password but has not saved it, the password will not be shown.

You can then go to THEMES and look through the different themes. Once you have found one you want, click ADD TO FIREFOX. It will download and then it should be in TOOLS>ADD-ONS and you can change the theme whenever.

Upgrade your Firefox to the latest version and restart it.
- Remove all the unwanted Add-ons and secure login for the URLs.
- You can set master password for your bookmarks saved passwords. It means that when ever you used that saved bookmarked URL it will ask for the master password for the seure it.

I use Compact with Classic Compact Options so I'm really compressed-the ultimate test as a large button would be out of place. The button is well proportioned, a bit longer than if it didn't have the functional arrow to the right but quite right so that I can easily use it which is what I plan to enjoy. This is new for me just now but looks very appealing. I'm a happy.
