Yes Google's Mobile Friendly test would be great to check whether your site is mobile friendly or not.
If your site is mobile friendly then It is really great for you because of that, your site will also get mobile traffic, the visitors who uses mobile to surf internet can visit your site. :D

Try checking the sites from Google Chrome Inspect Elements and on the top button you can see a mobile icons which will view in mobile. Also, you can choose for mobile brand and sizes.
