Network bandwidth is usually expressed in bits per second (bps); modern networks typically have speeds measured in the millions of bits per second (megabits per second, or Mbps) or billions of bits per second (gigabits per second, or Gbps).

Bandwidth is the bit-rate of available or consumed information capacity expressed typically in metric multiples of bits per second.

If you have unlimited bandwidth in your hosting package then your website will load faster even if 100s of people are accessing it at the same time

Sorry, I have to disagree with this. As long as the usage is not hitting the limit, a package with 100 GB bandwidth limit and a package with unlimited bandwidth limit will not make any difference. It is not about the limit set to your package but about the carriers being used. There are premium bandwidth carriers and low cost carriers.

Bandwidth is the difference between the upper and lower frequencies in a continuous set of frequencies. It is typically measured in hertz, and may sometimes refer to passband bandwidth, sometimes to baseband bandwidth, depending on context.
