Page loading time is an important criteria for your website. It can be reduced by a good design and less number of ads on your landing page. It can also be reduced by using a good web hosting service.

Optimize Image Size and Format: The images on your site can take up a lot of bandwidth, which affects the loading time of your page. It is not enough to downsize your website’s images in HTML because that only changes the appearance of the image and not its actual size. Use external picture editor tools to resize the images, such as Photoshop.

A few reasons may cause your site loading slowly, such as web hosting server, WordPress configuration, the large size of images and plugins. Depending on the situations, I perform different ways to accelerate the page loading speed for my WordPress site (https://wpvivid.com/accelerate-the-post-loading-speed-of-your-wordpress.html). For beginners, I think, the easiest way is to install caching plugin on WordPress site like WP Super Cache and WP Rocket.

If you want a quick answer, the Google recommended page load time is under two seconds: “Two seconds is the threshold for ecommerce website acceptability. At Google, we aim for under a half-second.” Fast matters, especially when it comes to customer service.
