Please tell me what is H1 tag.

Once your site is up and running, the final thing you need to do is for pick your keywords (if you have not had us do keyword research as a part of SEO) so that the search engines will know what your site is about.

The most important part of this is the page title, as Google will ignore any extra keywords. You should not put more than 3 keyword in the title, for instance:

The best way to find meta tags is go on Google.ca and for instance, type in "West Vancouver Realtor". Then pick two or three of the top sites that come up (not the highlighted ads, just the regular results on the page), and do the following:

TITLE: The title is a short description of who you are and what you are all about - it should contain what you do and where you do it.

DESCRIPTION: The search engine will use this overview of the site when people are deciding to click on your site or not, so make it appealing, see this example:

KEYWORDS: Keywords are the words that people will type into the search engine, that will key the engine in to display your page. Your page will rank higher if you have keywords that are repeated in the text of your page as well.

H1 is the title tag defined for search engines to crawl through them and know about your webpage title. It is defined to the to know and display the title in search engines.

H1 is Heading 1 tag. As we know that Heading is very important for the site. search engine crawls the pages and gives results according to Heading 1 tag.

H1 tag of HTML is used for giving a big or very first heading to a webpage of your website. It shows biggest text than that of other h2, h3, h4, h5, and h6 tags.
You have to start and close the tag with some heading text in it such as shown below:
<h1>This is the main heading of a webpage</h1>
h1 shows the biggest text heading while h6 shows the smallest heading.

MUST-HAVE KEY-WORDS: Your name, the name of your company, your domain name, your industry, your location, the location you serve. The fewer keywords you have, the heavier they are weighed.

Once you've done this for a few sites for top words that you want people to find you for, you can compile your own list, email it to your SEO company, and they can take care of the registration process for you.

H1 tag is the most important tag on an individual page of a website. it may be used to introduce the content of that page as a whole,that is, to name the topic at hand or to simply reflect the name of the page itself.There are SEO benefits to using the H1 tag as a way to include keywords more relevant to the content of the page and as descriptive as possible.

It is important just like Title tag, Title tag is for Robots, whereas H1 tag is for Readers. After Title Google crawlers look for H1 tag, it is also considered as one of the ranking factor.

It's a simple questions. You can search it on internet to understand more. It's just a header tag, like title of your post - it is a <h1> tag. You also have h2, h3, h4 ,h5 and h6 tag. Header tag is important for SEO

H1 tag is a Heading tag, there 6 headings tags available in HTML, H1, H2, H3, H4, H5 and H6. H1, H2 and H3 are commonly used tags. For SEO Point of view its important to have a H1, H2 tags in your site but it is not necessary for every website.
