Deindexing is when a popular search engine decides that a site has used unnatural linking methods to make the site seem more popular and therefore removes them from their index.

A search engine like Google or Bing send out robots to search through all the content that is uploaded onto the internet, all of this information that is found is then stored in the search engines index. There is then many algorithms set up to sort all the information out and bring the most relevant information to the top of search results for any given search query.

De-indexing is when for what ever reason, a website, webpage, or some sort of content is then taken out of that index and therefore does not show up in the search engines search results for any search phrases.

Hi there!

De-indexing happens when an individual complain against about your website's picture, video or content related in Google's Legal Department with an appeal to remove your website with a given specific keyword. De-indexing does not mean that your website will be remove, it just mean that your website will loose its usual ranking.

Hope it would help you!

When your site disappears from Internet then it is termed as de-indexing. It is due to several reason including duplicate content, unauthorized download options, and doorway pages etc.

I'm not sure if more simplicity is needed but;

Now that we're focused on the horror of “de-indexing”, unnatural link acquisition isn't the only way to get banned by Google
