If you are new to managing a web server I would recommend getting a server with a control panel such as cPanel or Directadmin they both will give you a web interface where you can manage the new sites and install most of the web hosting needed services during the install.

well you should start by ordering a vps with centos and start working on centos tutorials, after that install cpanel on a server and go through cpanel guides. you going to need at least to have a fair knowledge on these 2 things, linux (centos) and cpanel.
