you need to complete your forum profile with Complete details with your blog link also need to add your blog link to forum signature and also need to do Quality Discussion with people over that forum by this way you can gain traffic to your blog by forum.

Become a member on forums where you know your target audience is and on forums which are relevant for your niche. Actively participate in discussions, ask questions when in doubt and offer your oppinions, share your experiences.
