I looking for the company which is based in the USA and which is optimized for FFmpeg hosting. I know that apthost.com offers attractive web hosting plans and specializes in FFmpeg hosting. Do you think that I can trust this company?
Any alternative to compare the offers?

Think glowhost.com is a better option for using FFMpeg hosting, they support FFMpeg module on all their services.
Prices are acceptable.
Support is online constantly.

I think santrex.net has not bad cnditions, they even offer special NSV streaming accounts for such sites as an alternative solution cheaply.
I am sure that you can trust apthost.com. My personal experience proves that it provides stable hosting and skillful support services. The price is affordable, so you can give them a try. As an alternative, I'd like to draw your attention also at exmasters.com which is 100% compatible with streaming video and FFmpeg. Their price is also competitive, so I hope this information somehow will help you.

I second glowhost company as they provide FFMpeg hosting in a quality way.
They support it on all their services - shared, reselling, VPS accounts dedicated servers, etc.
Prices are affordable on their services and support works for 24 hours.

I would say there are two of them I would rather choose from - serverpoint.com for the objective reasons, and a2hosting.com for being highly reputable and having respective modules included.

Taking into consideration your specific needs, I can assure you that apthost.com is able to meet all your specifications. If you want to keep your web sites always online, this company would be a good option for you.
I also think that it will be useful to share discounts:
Coupon "SUMMER" - 25% off dedicated and VPS hosting plans;
Coupon "SUPERSAVER" - 50% off shared, semi-dedicated and reseller plans.

I assume you need operate according to your size and your current needs. If you have large media files and you are looking to have a lot of visitors that would be good idea to think over the VPS server

I would like to recommend you not to focus your attention on one company and look at more web hosting offers. I have heard that exmasters.com is honest web hosting provider which also specializes in delivering secure FFmpeg hosting.
I can share a coupon on their virtual plans:
Use VIRT1 and get doubled space on each virtual plan...

That is separate kind of the web hosting now and I believe you can do the search for the madia hosting and I'm sure you will be able to find plenty of the reviews there as well as the names of the web hosting service providers
I would like to say that both companies have good reputation in the web hosting services market, but I think that you will have more privileges having chosen apthost.com web hosting services. It is more flexible company and you will be fully satisfied using their hosting services.

Hi,
If your just looking for streaming the video any old host will do. If you want to do something along the lines of remote encoding or some such you will need a VPS most likely.
But if your just looking to make your already encoded videos available.... any hosting company will do. I personally recommend ffmpeghostingreseller. Even Bounceweb Recognized As Best Ffmpeg Web Hosting Provider.
Can suggest you something like serverpoint.com or a2hosting.com.. First one has special account for streanming ideo sites, second just includes respective modules into the plans for no extra charge. Both are being highly respected and reliable hosts with long experienced and brillian reputation.

I would definitely choose serverpoint.com. The company is one ща the best places to host streamed content sites, being enough experienced and reliable for the host to choose.

When selecting a hosting provider for media streaming with FFmpeg it’s important to make sure that the bandwidth and disk space policies are adequate for your intended usage. Keep in mind that unlimited doesn’t always mean unlimited, and have a conversation with the host about expected site traffic and streaming statistics prior to making a purchase. SiteGround is our recommended hosting provider for media streaming supported by FFmpeg.
