Hi,

My website has more then 500 hundreds 404 URL (Url not found). Is 404 url can effect on the keyword ranking and are we need to remove all 404 URL from website?

There are two way to removing 404 error page from your website

1. You can use robots.txt to block those types of 404 pages
2. You can permanently remove it from your website

Actually, Error 404 refers "Page Not Found". Having many 404 pages on your website will definitely reduce your website's reputation and it will definitely lead to drop in keyword rankings on search engines. So, try to remove or redirect these not available pages to avoid upcoming big SEO issues.
