I am confuse about the xml and html. Please explain the different between it.

The Difference Between XML and HTML. XML and HTML were designed with different goals: XML was designed to carry data - with focus on what data is. HTML was designed to display data - with focus on how data looks.

Sitemap is a way to tell search engine bot about all the pages of your website. Sitemap has two types. One is XML sitemap and another is HTML sitemap.

1. XML sitemap (which is used by Google bot)

2. HTML sitemap (Which is used by users)

There are various different between two xml and html. xml full form is Extensible Markup Language and html full form is hyper text transfer protocol.
