Every website has a specific name to identify it on the World Wide Web. Like your home address, it consists of different parts. The domain name has to be unique and lead to only one specific website. That is why you have to check first if your desired domain name is free and not already claimed. Any web address begins with „www". This is an abbreviation for World Wide Web and is the gateway to the internet. Nowadays, domain names do not necessarily have to have a „www" in front because web browsers will recognize it automatically. The next part, the Second Level, is the most important recognition factor – the domain name. Think of a domain name that best reflects the content and subject of your website! The last part is the Top Level Domain, and it can be generic (.net, .com, .org) or geographic (.us, .ca, etc.). The TLD gives your website a special designation on the web. You can only register a free domain name that has not already been claimed.

Since individuals asking this query have already purchased their own sector address, I will continue on that supposition. If this is not real for you, please look at this content How to Sign-up Your Own Domain Name to discover out how you can go about getting your own sector.

Hello friends,
How to host the domain ?
Hey
You can buy shared hosting, upload your files to they server and link your domain to their nameservers.
Or you can buy a VPS, install and configure software, and upload your files to your server. It's not so hard as it can appears, take a look here (https://serversuit.com/community/technical-tips/view/lamp-package-setup.html) for an example.
If you're a new on that I can suggest you a shared hosting, it will be easier for you. You always can migrate later if you need more flexibility or server resources.

In order to add a new domain to your hosting account, you need to perform two basic steps – change the nameservers for the domain to our hosting ones and then add your domain name to the server your account is hosted on.

First, you need to find your IP address. http://whatismyip.com will give that to you (assuming you don't know already). You'll need to point the domain name to that IP address. You can manage DNS entries at the Registrar where you registered the domain name.
