It's hard to trust, nowadays big companies invest money on ghost writers to give fake reviews in forums.

Some review submission sites are genuine and will help you to select best hosts. you can even check their reviews on hosting providers social media pages.

Some times it,s really hard to judge the reviews, as reviews comes in both positive and negative way, so how it would be possible to consider actual good will of that company or product.

try to find a balance between price and service and try to focus o small companies.
Hi Becca90,
I agree with Hostuto, big companies usually invest in getting fake reviews, it's always good to check review sites that actually have plans with the host they're reviewing. So sometimes it's best to go with smaller companies that will give you better service and support.

Most of the hosting review websites are considered as spam. you can check the hosting providers reviews on their social pages, or else you can contact the support department directly and clarify your doubts rather than trusting review websites. Some review website are genuine like hostsearch.

Go with the reviews of trusted sources wherever you can. Not all reviews are suspicious.

I don't completely agree not believing the review websites. There are "ghost writes" for sure as you say but i think that's the minor part of all opinions and personal impressions. So my point is that trusted websites can be useful and helpful at least. Peace :)

Sadly, most of the hosting review sites out there are useless. They simply "rank" hosts based on which ones they get the best affiliate payout from.
The best review sites I have found would be ReviewHell.com (Site owners honest opinion of hosts) and WebHostingGeeks.com (moderated, user submitted reviews)
